zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Got boredwith first page..
Lots of little boys talking utter balls.
Crazy idea why not test drive both instead of presuming and then decde for yourself. ultimately comes down to personal preference.
What has happened to this...
If it were the battery the car would struggle to turn the engine over... As previously mentioned it sounds like TDC sensor... Having the same issue on 172.. I haven't replaced the sensor yet but cleaned it and been ok so far tuch wood!
Its not about speed etc with the V6... Its the drive, totally unique car to drive.. If you are looking purely on facts and figures your looking at the wrong angle on this car
I had the mk1 for over 2 years and loved every minute of it.... Like previously mentioned they aint that bad to run and service cost are same as 172/182... I also get bored easily but after owning Scoobies, Evos etc I can honestly say the V6 was the only one I never got bored with... Sold her in...
This is true... Most handling issues are down to weight re wheels... However most people tend to slam theirs cars and put bigger wheels on, from past experience suspension is to hard and ends up bouncing on the b roads..
Off reading previous posts it seems that these tye of faults are not always picked up on a diagnostic check... It def is nothing to do with battery as the car turns over but just fails to start... It is def some kind of sensor, aint coil pack as had this go before on 172 and V6..
What and...
Echo what mos have said about driving both before deciding... What I wouls say is that ownd both and to be fair there is quite a big difference between Trophy and 182/cup pack... Handling is so much better on Trophy - dont need to be pushed to the limit to notice this.
It is noticed in...
Hi Ed Owned both, my personal favourite was the MK1... Just felt more on the edge.. the dodgy handling subject everyone talks about is balls.. You wouldnt notice the difference unless on the track pushing to its limits.
Change was originally due to losing company car, had a recent...
Each to their own I guess... Where as for me I sold the V6 and went to the Trophy as I felt that this car has most feedback and agility beingun real. These sort of comments are good stuff as its personal preference coming from experiences. Alot of this post is total balls. Saying that seems...
I am sure Renault after spending millions developing the Trophy set up have got it right. I have owned most model of clio and driven all and the trophy is by far the best handling of the bunch. It may not be the quickest but it is the best for handling.
Maybe suggest driving all models before...
