Flash the ROM with a custom one, that will allow you to disable 3g manually in comm manager. Saves LOADS of battery life too. Then when you wanna use internet or data just enable 3g again.
What I do on my diamond. go to www.xda-developers.com for info on ROM's etc.
Re: 197cup back in operation Full Janspeed system and sports cat. Absolutley Awesome
Lol so true, I remember years ago when I first showed my then bird the 182 and asked her what was special about it.
"It's blue"
yes, yes it is.
Just because people drive Gallardo's doesnt mean they can't appreciate hot hatches. Look at the panda 100hp which made Evo's fast fleet and was highly rated by most motoring journalists. A car such as the 197 should be all about fun but unfortunatley it falls off the mark. Still a good car but...
IF they had made the interior look like that to save weight, fair enough.
But they haven't, theyve done it to save there manafacturing costs (and making slightly cheaper to the consumer).
That interior is pure gash for a 2007 car, not just the lack of features but the layout etc. Complete...
Was going to see a Trophy tommorow, did an HPI and this came up:

i miss my 182 as well, got a s2k but its not the same... cant throw it around like a 182. Plus all it ever does in this country is rain and thats not a good recipie with a s2k. Sigh :-(
Seem to be getting more reasnoable.
Few avaialble brand spankers for 13k altho thats still poverty spec.
£12.5k should pick up 6 month old one with decent spec.
Anyone else getting tempted? Seen any good deals out there?
Yep carpets coming out tommorow mate and the light as well
Just glad its going tbh could of been worse. Engine itself is dry so just caprets and the light
Good news the xeon is back on.. magic ;)
No engine lights problems so issue really is with the carpets and the water, left heaters on for time being. Luckily it was fairly cleanish water so its not muddy at all inside, and doesnt smell....
Just got back and cut a long story short we've had catastrophic floods.
Water has come right into the floor plan of my clio and possibly the engine as well :-(
Good news is, it starts, and its drying out. Bad news is obviously inside the carpets v wet done my best to mop it up.
Also...
i rekon if the front lights didnt have that tear shape it wouldnt be quite so gash. It doesnt work on BMW's so its sure as hell not going to wokr on a renault
Well it seems my exhaust has blown, pitch has changed completley... theres a slight rattle on acceleration. At a guess I would say its centre section but obviously until I get it up on ramps not entirely sure.
Bad thing is the car is only 17 months old with 13k on it, slightly dissapointing...
5w 40 is the optimal oil in the clio sport book, and thats widely documented on this very forum as well.
Renault dealers of course use 10w 40, because there renault dealers and they treat an rs like a 1.1.
