I'm running Crysis @1680x1050 in High on a 640MB GTS runs very slick - also using the DX10 mod can run in High at the same settings all be it a little slower. Add in AA and the game looks lush but is jerky
Some do and some don't, I have found that nForce based chipsets normally do. I'd give it a go without first. When I did my XP machine I used a disk image of an IDE drive onto the new SATA drive, tried booting Windows, and all was good. My pc is however donkeys years old now, I'm guessing Service...
Some SATA drivers are included in the chipset drivers. My intel motherboard didn't require any drivers either.
Check the boot order, some BIOS's use a legacy boot system, there may be some crafty settings you need to tweek
Take a look at http://crucial.com/uk/ put in the details of laptop model, it'll tell you then what memory you need and 9 times out of 10 how much the laptop will take.

I have ditched the wirless option, and gone for a dLAN solution from Devolo. Pings are pretty good, connection bandwidth from router downstairs to pcs upstairs is arount 20mbps, quiker than broadband connection, online games run well with no noticable lag.. an option, but CAT5 ftw really!!

Got my PH1 due to looks, nicer standard wheels, front end is better looking imo, phase 2 rear lights and it looks sorted.
Only downside, is the lousy steering wheel material...
Thinking about it, I did have one pc that when unplugged from the mains then plugged back in, experienced the same symptons, after a few minutes the pc would power up.
Sorted.... the 4 ping plug that's tied to the ATX power needs to go in a pulg at the top left-hand side of the cpu, noted in the green box
Ignore that, the 4 pins I can see are for the 20/24 Pin ATX adapter plug :-(
Sounds like a good plan.
I'm guessing on the PCs you want to add the printer on use add new local printer (un-tick auto detect), create a new port, standard TCP/IP enter the IP address of the print server then install the correct drivers for the printer. Not quite sure how you'll add 2 printers...
