Just a few laps from early in the day. By god it was slippy on 888s! As you can see, not many on track at that point. White 200 that comes screaming past is an instructor ;)
Silverstone national is not the most inspiring track, but it's nice and wide and good for sliding around on without too...
I've been trying to sort out the dribbling windscreen washer pump on my FF 182. Fitted one new pump and it's made no difference, but I noticed there's another. When looking into the engine bay, I replaced the one closest to the middle of the engine bay (on the left), but anyone know which one...
My 182 central locking is playing up. The boot is now locked whatever i do with the key remote or interior lock button. Anyone know how i can unlock the boot from the inside?
cheers
Apologies if you've seen this before. Almost makes you want to grow a mullet and start buying David Hasselhof albums...

Wonder if anyone can help? I need to replace the washer pump on my FF182. I've got a tool to get the wipers off, then remove the scuttle panel and disconnect the electrical connection to the pump. But I can't get the pump out. Anyone know how? It seems like the pump is wedged into the washer...
Few laps in the 182 during the middle of the day. Sorry about the movement - need to work on a sturdier mount!

With a few days holiday to use up, and the Clio having been gathering cobwebs all summer, I decided to go for a bit of a roadtrip around south and mid Wales. With a map to hand and drawing on experience and some pointers off the net I soon worked out a route.
Most things Wales-related involve...
I just got the Renaultsport free CD through with pics from the Bedford evening session. Some really nice shots on there. Loving these ones of my bean (and these are without sticky rubber on)...
Took the Bean to Spa yesterday to stretch its legs at the RS trackday. Had a great time and the car performed well, although it was worked hard on the brakes and tyres. In this instance, the sessioned format was a blessing as it gave the car a chance to recover. Had a good few laps (not...

With the RS trackdays about to kick off, I took my FF 182 in for a geometry set-up today with the Racecardoctor (http://www.racecardoctor.com/). I'd recently fitted 12mm aerospace bolts instead of the standard 14mm bolts to my upper strut bolts to give -2 degrees of camber and wanted to get the...
All you 182 owners, how does your brake pedal feel? I know this is pretty subjective, but with the engine on and the car stationary, can you press the pedal all the way to the end of the stroke (and feel the stop)?
Renault bled my brakes the other day, (including bleeding the ABS unit) but my...
Wonder if anyone can help. Bled my brakes for the third time today and the pedal can still be pushed all the way to the floor with firm pressure. There's also an obvious sucking noise when applying them. They just don't feel right.
Today I used a Gunson system running 20psi off the front tyre...
I used one of these today - the Europat Vizibleed one with the white container - starting by sucking as much fluid as I could out of the reservoir with a syringe. Then i filled the resrvoir with new fluid. Then working from the left rear, right rear, left front, right front I put the tube onto...
My 182 is running software 8100, calibration 7803 and is an F4R CB22. My question is do I need to write a new ECU software or can I just write the new .cal file onto the old ECU software? Is there any advantage to uploading new ECU software? As I understand it, it's the .cal file that makes the...
I found these H&R camber bolts online for €43 delivered which is a pretty good saving when KTEC are charging £60! They are 14mm, so same thread as a 182 strut, but does anyone know if they make different lengths, and if these ones are long enough...
I'm Thinking of doing the cheap camber bolts option of fitting 12mm bolts in the top eyelet to get -2 degrees camber. I understand that ISO 12.9 should be strong enough grade for the bolts.
I'm guessing the nuts should be 12.9 as well, or will 10.9 be sufficient?
Should I use Nylock nuts...
