Hi All
I bought a shiny new 182 back in 2004 and rather stupidly sold it 18 months later, a descision I've regretted ever since!
I'm now thinking about buying another, hopefully a Trophy although I think that is just out of budget.
How have they stood up to the test of time? I'm ideally...
Hello!
Gosh, it's been ages since I've posted here and I come out with a question like this!
Anyway, I've got an idea at work but I don't have the knowledge yet to understand or suggest it so I thought I would run past hopefully people with more know how..
We have a large DB running on...
p.s. live view is ace for tripod shooting :D
I know that was most likely taken with a phone camera bit I love that picture!
The way it shows the wide angle view of the camera with a 'normal' picture behind it is very cool :)
That review appears to imply that the expensive cables prevent 'dropped data' It would be interesting to run a data analyser test with the see just how much data would drop with a cheap cable. I can understand a more expensive cable being more reliable in the long run but really do fail to see...
I'm after Sky HD soon but tbh I'm not overly fussed about paying £199 for the box. Are there any amazing deals out there or on the horizon, not in a mad rush to get it but by xmas would be nice.
Steve
Morning All
Just had a conversation with Sky re moving house and they have offered me a fully inclusive package for £75pm. That is Sky World, multiroom, HD, phone and broadband.
Does anybody have any experience of Sky Broadband? I was assured it was 'unlimited' but it is that with a FUP...
I hate Vista.
Trying to over simplify simply makes it that much more of a pain in the ar5e.
I am now streaming videos etc.. not really sure exactly what it was, I think it just did it of it's own accord!
Well....*humph*
I can't even get WMP to work with it, all the relevant boxes are ticked and the correct ports enabled in McAfee but still no luck.
Suggestions appreciated!
Steve
Hmmm
Until I move house next month and have my own PC hooked up I am using GFs laptop so I'm not overly keen on having to use software that needs a lot of messing around with.
Can I simply drag the files over to the 360?
What file formats does the 360 support natively?
Having just bought myself a 360 I would like to play HD content through it. What do I need to play most type's of file format on it? I've heard that TVersity is what I need?
Any help appreciated :)
Steve
ps it is already hooked up to PC which is runing Vista.
IMO the step up 'normal' HD over 'Full' HD is not nearly as great or beneficial as the initial leap from SD.
Having seen a Pioneer 50 running 1080p from Blu Ray I was not overly blown away, certainly on a cursory glance it didn't warrant the extra outlay.
What is your budget for the screen?
Well that may just be my fire pi$$ed on!
Do I go with the tight jock in me and buy it, saving money and having to import all my software, which really, isn't that great a hassle or do I go for the easy life and get the uK version..
oh well...if it doesn't get delivered to the store here...
Ok..so I have a chance to buy a US 360 Elite at a tax free price which is very very tempting.
What issue' s are there (ex power) that I should be aware of owning a US version, things I am thinking of include online compatibility, game and movie playback (region free or not)
I have searched...
I've yet to experience that..thankfully! Although being older and wiser (???) as well having a fairly smooth driving style seems to help. No doubt it will come soon enough tho!
Thanks for all the positive comment's on both the pics and the cars :)
I think Im still getting used to it, certainly some corner's I have thrown it in and have been amazed at how much it grip's.
I think the trouble is that for a given speed it feels so much faster/ less relaxed that the 182 which in turn is telling my brain to slow down!
Very tough one to answer this. The 182 was a lot easier to drive smoother, it wasn't so easily unsettled and generally made 'making progress' a lot more relaxed.
In the 205 you are a lot more conscious of being ragged about and certainly at speed the car seem's to be a lot more unsettleable...
I bought this over a month ago and now finally have it back from the bodyshop :D It is a 1.9 on a g plate and has a fully rebuilt engine and rear beam. Unfortunately the paint was pretty bad so it has been in for a full respray, looks as good as new now :D
All that is left to do is upgrade...
Hi
Can anybody tell or point me in the right direction of how much difference of having an amp (max draw 40A) makes to performance, economy, reliabity etc..
Steve
I've just bought a 205 with sound bodywork but shoddy paintwork, I'm after having this back to tip-top condition but not to keen on paying close to £1K!
Sounds a perfect distance :)
Steve
hehe well guessed Daz, I am indeed from Brize!
Im guessing you aren't? Ive only seen one 182 on camp and it doesn't have speedlines! Plenty of 172s appearing tho.
Jacko>> If you don't know Brize then it's literally smack bang in the middle of Oxford/Chelt/Swin or just 70 miles from Brum/London...
Hi
I am after a good, yet cheap! Resprayer in the above region, for cheap read people who may want to do it on the side ;)
Any other recommendations are welcome as well :)
Steve
Do you get a small MS-DOS box quickly flash up or dl.exe trying to run?
I had a similar problem when I managed to get a virus :(
search for 'dl.exe' and def perfrom a full virus scan
oh...I had to re-install to fix :(
ahhhh that does it.
Moving the file from being stored outwith the tones folder did the trick.
Reallyshould have beenable to figure that one out!
thanks
Hey
Im trying to change my default N73 to an Mp3 that I have saved on the mem card. It's easy to change the ringing tone but not the msg tone it seems as there isn't an option (that I can see) to select from the mem card.
thanks
Steve
