I've got a set of 15" steels for winter, annoys me that the hub gets exposed and rusty. Anyone know where I can get some centre caps preferably in black?
MOT failed on corroded rear lines on the part that comes directly off the caliper and is bonded on to another line. From what he said I don't think this is the part that would be replaced by braided lines but I'm not sure?

I notice K-Tec don't have the option to choose between the cup and non cup size powerflex bushes like Kam Racing do. Safe to assume K-Tec are selling the cup size bushes?
Car is 05 plate with 45k. As far as I know still on original engine mounts, suspension parts and bushes.
Got a bit of an occasional knock on lift off of hard acceleration and can knock itself out of gear under hard acceleration in 1st.
Going to powerflex the dogbone and thought I may aswell...
Does it need a respray of the whole bumper to match properly or can it be partly done, there's also some similar damage right on the edge of the wheelarch that isn't in this pic.
I considered smart repair but consensus seems to be they will be crap? Neighbour that did it is paying but not...
Got the Front O2 sensor fault DF0092, DF0967 I reset it the other week but it came back. I'm assuming it does need replaced then but I just want to check the "front" sensor is the one at the front of the car before the cat?
Also what are the symptoms, anything I should be noticing? I do a lot...
From the details when connecting I have found I am running software version 8200 and calibration version 7804 which must be at least 18 months old.
The website doesn't have the range of maps listed like it used to so I don't know how out of date mine is. Is there a newer version and if there...
I know they're different but how do I know I'm about to buy the right ones?
Need a new set of wheel nuts for my winter steelies but I can only find picks of the alloy wheel nuts with the big 60mm collar or whatever it is. What do the steel ones look like?
It's a scorpion rs 192 and the car is running rstuner map. It had the same map on the standard exhaust but didn't seem to run like this at idle although the scorpion is maybe just more free flowing so you couldn't hear it before.
Just sounds a bit rough to me, reminds me of my old 1.6 when...
Having some trouble fitting this as the cat and the silencer pipe don't seem to fit together very well. Got it as well lined up as possible and the clamp as tight as possible but still getting a leak. Seems to leak at the point where the bolt joins the clamp as theres obviously a gap there...
So I am getting a fairly loud clunk but very rarely and it only maifests itself under very particular conditions.
Only times I have heard it are, accelerating away hard in 1st to get across a busy roundabout then as i come off the throttle theres a loud clunk. Has done it a couple of times in...
about 50% of the time when I start my car from cold for about 20 secs it will rev from 1000 to about 1500 over and over again like someone is blipping the throttle before settling down to usual cold idle around 1000rpm.
Wondering if it is idle control valve on its way out? Only seems to happen...
I've only had mine on twice, coming off a roundabout in 2nd gear in the damp.
But it doesn't seem to actually do anything! Wheels still spin up, car wants to go straight ahead and ESP light just flashes at me!
Is everyone elses TC crap?
EDIT: I was going to add a poll but can't seem to...
Right, when i first got the car the cat to centre pipe connection had a leak at the clamp which was then fixed.
Then the cat to manifold connection went so was leaking again and has now been replaced with new fitting kit.
But I just can't decide if there is still a leak somewhere or not, it...
It doesn't always do it and only started doing it in the last week or so. I thought it was if I hadn't quite shut the door properly but decided it can't be. Any ideas?
Standard renault alarm btw
Is there some technique I can use when jacking to stop it? I've had it up quite a lot recently and its worrying me how much seems to be scraped off. :dapprove:
How has everybody done this?
I sliced a bit of the vacuum pipe off, put it back on the nipple thing stuck a screw in the end and then used a tiny jubilee clip to tighten round the screw.
But when i started the car after it revved between 1000 and 1500rpm four or five times before settling...
Got cam and aux belt kits changed today and I've got a core plug and plug on the bill. I assumed there were cam seals? But after googling all I can find about core plugs is they are in the block so they are popped out if your coolant freezes.
So what are they? Part numbers are R77 00 106...
Its the large chunk of metal that has 2 bolts on the top on the engine on the left hand side and connects in to the left hand side of the engine bay. I'm sure you know what I'm on about.
Taking it off to paint it as it and the plenum and fuel rail guard are going matt black.
So do i need to...
So obviously the .cal file actually has 98ron in the name but what does it mean.
Does the car perform slightly better on it because the map is optimised for it or does it need it to run properly? Am I going to be causing it to not run right because I'm using standard 95ron fuel?
