about 50% of the time when I start my car from cold for about 20 secs it will rev from 1000 to about 1500 over and over again like someone is blipping the throttle before settling down to usual cold idle around 1000rpm.
Wondering if it is idle control valve on its way out? Only seems to happen when starting of its been sat for a while. But doesn't seem to be linked to it being hot or cold / wet or dry.
