New core plug during cam and aux belt change?

Got cam and aux belt kits changed today and I've got a core plug and plug on the bill. I assumed there were cam seals? But after googling all I can find about core plugs is they are in the block so they are popped out if your coolant freezes.

So what are they? Part numbers are R77 00 106 271 and R77 00 274 026

They're round things that go in the block sometimes known as penny's.
