Just a few laps from early in the day. By god it was slippy on 888s! As you can see, not many on track at that point. White 200 that comes screaming past is an instructor ;) Silverstone national is not the most inspiring track, but it's nice and wide and good for sliding around on without too...

182 FF has two washer pumps that go in at right angles to the reservoir. pt number 7700 430 078. I think the one to the centre of the engine bay does the headlights and the one closer to the wing does the windscreen.

I've been trying to sort out the dribbling windscreen washer pump on my FF 182. Fitted one new pump and it's made no difference, but I noticed there's another. When looking into the engine bay, I replaced the one closest to the middle of the engine bay (on the left), but anyone know which one...

My 182 central locking is playing up. The boot is now locked whatever i do with the key remote or interior lock button. Anyone know how i can unlock the boot from the inside? cheers

182 FF with Recaros, no bench seat, headrests or tool kit, no lump of iron in the engine bay, full tank of petrol: 1052kg.

Well, I know weighbridges aren't the most accurate, but they're not 100kg inaccurate. And I didn't have to push it on because I'd taken the engine out.

My FF was 1060kg on a weighbridge with a full tank of fuel. With track wheels and rear bench out it goes down to 1040kg.

Can you do that with just the scuttle panel off, or do you have to remove arch liners etc? Cheers

Wonder if anyone can help? I need to replace the washer pump on my FF182. I've got a tool to get the wipers off, then remove the scuttle panel and disconnect the electrical connection to the pump. But I can't get the pump out. Anyone know how? It seems like the pump is wedged into the washer...

Agree the suction mounts are super strong. It's just a symptom of the UK's obsession with health and safety.

Maybe if you roll or the window smashes in an accident somehow, then you've got an electronic brick flying round the car. Just a guess...

Done that. And blasted compressed air through. Getting motor noise and a dribble - that's it. Guessing motor must be on the way out.
