I think all car makes and models have w**ks driving their cars, and nobody on here can say they havnt booted their Clio now and again, it's the main reason you buy a "cliosport".
With everything, you'll always find a few idiots in the group.
Maybe slightly over priced, but it has low mileage, I'd be happy with that.
You will love it on dry country roads.
Just hope you have £500 put aside for repair bills, guaranteed something stops working in the first few weeks!
Its a love hate relationship.
Hope you enjoy it mate.
It's fine, mine did that, every time you put your foot down White smoke/steam appeared, it's just the hot air coming out the exhaust and hitting the cold air.
Iv had mixed experiences buying private, always take a mechanic friend with you, or do a AA health check on it. And you must must MUST do a full hpi check on it, it's worth spending an extra £100max doing checks, than a month down the line buying a lemon.

Iv just sold my second 172 and got a 2006 Hyundai coupe! I was so fed up with the 172, every month something else seemed to break on it, I just wanted something reliable. Though there is nothing better than a fully working 172 on a quiet dry country road :)

I'm looking at a car that is a 52 plate, 59,000 miles, FSH, did the hpi check and everything was fine, except it had 9 previous owners, just found this odd? Or is it just me? Car looks mint, not even a stone chip. What do you all think?

I made it £2999 for a quick sale, yet very little intrest, wrong time of year?
Put your parents on your insurance, your still the main named driver. It saved me a couple of hundred every year, not much but it helps. Also try bell car insurance, iv always found them pretty cheap
I like mine being standard, though thinking of getting it lowered slightly. But at least once a month something breaks, my old 172 was the same, but I thought I had just got unlucky, lol.
