Well from K-Tecs site it seems the Group N cluths will last longer than the 16v one. The guy seems to be giving you adivce, it could save you money in the end!

Its not all about the bigger the bore the more gain you will recieve! You need a good comprimise between larger bore for a gain and a suitable ammount of back pressure. Your best bet is to speak to any of the racing guys to see what systems they have tested along with bores!

Roamer how much did it cost for the custom map by superchips? i kno its around £300 + VAT for the their standard superchips.

Cool guys :). Do the RTs run the same engine as in the Clio 2 Pre-Facelift? yea the manifold and the cams will have to match the throttle bodies. You wont get the full gain with slapping on mismatched bits and pieces.

I like the sound of the Supersprint Street System and they make it for the 1.4 8v as most dont. Anyone running the street system? Im not sure of diameters. I hope its not as loud as yours dog maul! With you system what did yous get? Backbox and center section? Whats the full system made...

Youre not being a dumbass at all Jon1978. There is a marginal ammount of run in with an exhaust. i.e. to let carbon deposits build up etc. I wouldnt worry about it though, drive as you normally would!

Well guys you can get VTEC controllers, that get the VTEC to kick in earlier. Mayb some1 will make for for the VVT.

My tuning guy says their stuff is a load of BS. Noway they will be able to get some of their quoted gains from the chip.

Im not sure wether they are piggy back or not.. Look up Powerchips, they mite not be piggyback £150 i think! And well its a superchip really.

I believe its all to do with back pressure. Removing the cat could reduce the back pressure too much, ie sapping power.
