Unless you can get it for 500-600 I wouldnt bother. and there is definitely some cosmetic damage on the rear quarter and above the door handle.
Id save your pennies and get one for around 1500.
I was in my 172 cup, followed you from Marton all the way to the A45. Im sure you seen me
embarrass myself on the slip road, I clipped the curb on the corner :( I was expecting a bit of over steer because of the damp, still not used to the dam thing.
But anyway pretty sure I seen a CS badge...
If any form of insurance is involved then he will legally have to declare the accident for the next 5 years on any new insurance policy he takes out. Even though it wasnt his fault he will still be penalised on his renewal. Someone crashed into the back of me a last year, completely no fault of...
VTR and GT is 110 bhp and the VTS 125 has different cams and a different inlet.
OP i'd highly recomend a C2 VTS or GT (VTR has gay gearbox). Awesome cars and great engine, I had one and loved it. Not as fast as my Cup but great fun. Cheap insurance and will leave most other 1.6's standing...
Not sure if its worth it to be honest I did a 10 month on my last policy. My insurance for my Cup cost me 1500 this year with 1yr, 10months driving and 2 years NCB. Now if I had 2 years driving and 2 years NCB it would have cost me 1200, saving 300 quid. Sneaky buggers.
Has been up for a while now. Suspension doesn't look right and its also missing the small black inserts on the front bumper. Usually means new/resprayed bumper. Wouldn't bother looking tbh.
NO WAY.
I'd pick a cup! better wheels, spoilers, suspension, slightly faster, special edition (kinda). Also the average joe wont know that a standard 172 is a sport, whereas the cup looks a little bit more sporty lol. Then again you've got the gash seats and no air con.
Its a fair bit of mileage but it should be good to go if its serviced properly. Clutch might go fairly soon if its not been done, but then again its probably spent most of its life on the motorway so who knows. Other things like rear shocks (Have probably been done already), engine mounts might...
The first 3 have either been in a front end crash or had the bumper resprayed/replaced. Missing black bumper inserts.
The 182 Looks a bit chavy but might be all right. Maybe worth a look, but make sure there's proof of cam-belt replacement. Although for 2900 its not a bad price even if they...
Its french, the gearboxes/clutch aren't the best, but theyre not bad. You wont be getting much more power out of one either, unless you spend big. If I was you i'd go for a 172, if your patient you should be able to find a really nice one for 2500. There might be a few 182's for that price but...
Unless you do motor way driving you wont save any money. Once your foot is down it will burn just as much, if not more fuel than a clio RS. Especially if its mapped!
