It seems to be coming from the engine and right through the exhaust system. Engine mounts? What damage is this doing under normal driving conditions?

What removing and refitting lower inlet, do i need to jack the engine up? And if so where is the best place to do it as i really don't want to crack my sump!

I started matching and polishing the inlets on my 172 at the weekend and i noticed that the top inlet wasn't stamped with RS. Does anyone know why?

When i got into my car this morning it was -13!! The car was frozen from the inside and iv never felt it so cold. It took a good 5 mile of slow driving to warm the engine up. I was just wondering if this extreme cold weather can damage me engine in any way?? Would be grateful for anyone's...
