I neede to replace this on my 1994 1.8 RSi....
Got the old one out no worries, when replacing with new I got carried away and snapped the bloody thing off flush with the block :(
Any ideas/help with removing it so i can try again ????

I am having a fookin nightmare with my RSi at the moment:mad:
It starts fine but the moment you depress the accelerator it stalls :dapprove:
After a few attempts it does eventually get going, this is baffling me :S
It does this when its been left for a few hours, starts and goes fine if only...
I have a set of Renualt 19 16v phase 1 alloys with no centre caps
Are these the right ones ???

I have had no end of problems with my coolant system since having the coolant changed :(
The latest one being the engine oil cooler....
It has rusted through the inlet and outlet pipes :(
I have by-passed it for now, but was wondering how important it is, as a local Renault guy has said he has...
Had this part go on me today, just below my top hose :dapprove:
Its solid metal i think and a small hole has appeared on the corner (the clean bit) of the bend..Thus spitting all my coolant over the floor
Firstly i dont know what the part/pipe is called (so cant order a new bit)

I am going to be changing my g/b oil next week and was wondering if the drain plug is the same as the engine oil one ?
Had to drop the car back down and bugger off to Halfrauds when i changed the engine oil as i didnt have the correct tool to undo the sump plug :o
Just want to avoid this...

This is now the second time in the short period i have lived in Bridgwater, that my car has been vandalised
Firstly i had the passenger door lock fooked, but no entry to the car, this time the little fooks have bust the rear hatch lock and well and truly mashed the passenger lock/door...
On my way to work this morning, saw a very nice blue PH-Quick with (i think) red/orange wheels and roll cage.
South bound on the M5 Taunton to Exeter...

After lowering my Mk1 RSi (about 50mm ish) i am ready to put on some valver wheels.
I bought some with tyres already fitted, but they dont fit :S
The tyres i have on now are 175/60/14's and fit perfectly
The tyres on the valver alloys are 185/55/15's and dont fit at all :(
What size tryes do...
I have a Mk1 RSi and have just fitted a 16v bonnet...
The only problem i have is my strut brace......wont go under the valver bonnet :(
Any usefull ideas ???????

I am looking at a K plate valver on Sunday..
All i know about it is, New 16" 5 spoke alloys+tyres, lowered and its the williams blue and thats about it...
The bad points are a quite loud tapping when first started, gets less noisey as it warms up, scratch down one side and no tax..

As per the norm, my 95 RSi has a leaky sunroof :(
Yesterday the car wouldnt start, the recovery guy said it seemed to be the imobiliser.
The remote locking hasnt worked since i bought it in Feb.
I have taken the remote sensor apart and the board is quite rusty :( and 2 of the resistors thingys...
I have now found somewhere that will do my tracking and allignment, but they have said I need to provide the settings for them.
As the car is lowered around 50mm and is due to be used on track as well as the road, what settlings should I be using?
Which size tyres should i run on valver 15" wheels...???
I am putting them on a Mk1 RSi which has been lowered about 50mm ish.
I have been told 195/45/15 but am unsure whether they will fit under the rear arches :S
The tyre guy said i need "narrow" fit ones though :S:S:S

Can anyone suggest anywhere in the Somerset/Devon area where I can get my tracking and alignment done?
My car has been lowered and I have been told by a couple of garages that they can't do the tracking and alignment as they "can't get the machine on top of the wheels"... But surely not every...

I have a 1995 Clio RSI, 8valve mk1 phase2 which is due to go round Haynes in June, but it is 100% standard. Any advice is welcome...
Current plans are to lower by one notch, put 15/16" alloys on, front strut brace, tint windows, new exhaust, air filter.
Is there anything else I should be...
Washed my RSi for the first time since buying it today...
And went for a drive, only to find huge amounts water coming in from the trims around the sunroof :(
Is this a common problem with Clio's or have i just got a dodgy s/roof ???
