Tracking & Alignment

Can anyone suggest anywhere in the Somerset/Devon area where I can get my tracking and alignment done?

My car has been lowered and I have been told by a couple of garages that they can't do the tracking and alignment as they "can't get the machine on top of the wheels"... But surely not every lowered car on the road hasn't been tracked or aligned? Surely someone must be able to get over this problem.

had the exact same problem when i had it done m8.
Forget quickfit, ATS, etc. They all use the same device, that goes above the tyre and clamps on the rim and they adjust the trackin by eye, its quick and cheap, but does the job on a car with a fully exposed rim+tyre.
U need to find a garage that specialises in alignment, suspension and tyres etc.
Somewhere with a 4 wheel laser alignment place will probs have the facility. they will hav more experience in aligning low cars. I got mine done at a place called treadfast, thats all the way in suffolk tho, long way from u

Get out the yellow pages, look around ure area for 4 wheel laser alignment places.

Dunno about your area but like smillie says a 4 wheel laser alignment place is your best bet, thats what I have to do with mine

There is a place (Protyre) in Exeter that has the laser alignment stuff, used to take the WRX there....
