Violent Shakes - No idea what's wrong!

It could be a binding brake caliper, if it does it again stop and check if any of the wheels are very hot.

    Another rave Chris Harris review...

Don't know about anyone else but I have never felt the need to sit on a car bonnet. Let alone a £100,000+ car. That's not mine.

    My car is ruined :-(

Hail? It was like 25degrees and soo humid/hot yesterday, freaky weather though as we did have a massive rainstorm with big tropical style rain drops, but didn't see any hail - you would've though it was impossible in those temps!

10mm Spacers, Do I need longer bolts ?

Yes, it won't work spacers + standard bolts. 10mm is a LOT of thread length. You want at least 6 full turns.

    My Z3M Coupe

BMW didn't want it to take the M3's halo so didn't give it the 6 speed and claimed it wouldn't fit. Some people are modifying the factory boxes by removing baffles but there are aftermarket options but they're not cheap. I've got Eisenmann boxes on mine but "road" tone so hardly louder than...

Thinkin' of doing some trackdays at last-advices?

If you're going to use road tyres then make sure than are at least half-worn otherwise you will likely suffer excess tread roll/wear and distortion. Nothing worse than driving on a newish road tyres on a trackday! You will also find accelerated tread wear. This is why dedicated track tyres are...

    Carbon Lorraine RC6

They work at any temperature. They get loud when they're not being pushed hard, but they always have a light squeal.

    Brake fluid...talk to me

Same as all brake fluids! Unless you're thinking of silicone-based DOT 5? Dot 5.1 was developed over DOT4 for modern ABS brakes (althoug DOT 4 works with abs braked cars also) it just has a slightly lower viscosity and has higher basic spec temp ratings. I got DOT 5.1 at around £2.50/500ml...

    Can't decide... Your opinions please

White does not suit the 172/182 shape Clio IMO, it looks old and dated. It looks fantastic on the 197/200 shape though.

    Donington Park Trackday Videos

I think it something I just started to do with practice in my 205, although it was so easy in that car that I found myself doing it all the time even on any road. The BMW is a lot harder, not sure whether it's due to the floor mounted hinge throttle or the pedal layout but it took a lot longer...

    Donington Park Trackday Videos

That's a quick time, don't think I was going much faster than this!! The car looks so grippy on slicks. Good driving although one comment I would mention is heel and toeing - it doesn't sound like you're doing it? probably won't increase lap times much/at all but it gives the gearbox and clutch...

    Mk1 @ Donington Park

I don't think the GT2RS was using more than 30% of it's 620bhp/520lb/ft performance, I noticed it behind me in one session and he wasn't catching up. It sounds daft but that car is almost "too" fast at a trackday with "normal" cars to use any of it's potential. It gets to 100 in about half the...

    Mk1 @ Donington Park

Brilliant footage, good idea to do "highlights" too as I know it can get boring watching unedited video with empty laps etc
