Today i took the yokohama tyres of my 172 as i suspected the were the cause of my handling problems. The car would follow white lines and overbanding on the road to the point of dangerous. I had been over the front suspension a hundred times and really had no confidence in the car when pushing...
Hello, I'm going to replace the steering wheel in my 172 because the previous owner had it colour coded leather... Not my thing. I was thinking could i use a 182 wheel with cruise control and add the switches then reconfiger computers to make it work?? has anyone here done this? Is it possible?
Its your airbag warning light, turn your car off, under the sear you moved you will find a conector disconect and reconect it start your car back up and ot will go out. If it persists you will need to solder wires together
i have a flamer but i like this colour just as much... don't change the wheel colour nothing else looks as good!! I'm SSSSOOOOOOOO glad i dont have silver!! like the rest of the world.. (Let the abuse start). ;)
well its pasted the test the clutch is now light enough so the wife can drive it. we are planing a trip to the south of Spain this june now... The wife has the day off tomorrow so she is going to skoda to pick a new front spliter up for me..:cool:
Well i got of my fat ass and did it. The noise in overrun was getting a bit to bad to leave..

and put in some shiny new ones.
also put a new clutch in before the release bearing went all the way through!!
But before any of that could be done I had to...
No sometime they only rattle when really hot or on load others only rattle on idel. You need to bang all the boxes including the cat to identify which it is.. Its not alway eaisy.. P.S. it will be fookin HOT so be careful..
Well I've ordered it from work, along with a top engine mtg and a gearbox repair kit. The box has been noisy since I had it but the volume went up all of a sudden.. :dapprove:
