rough price for a head gasket and water pump

rough price for a head gasket and water pump, seems both are going/gone. Paid £950 for the w reg dog in october and already spent £210 getting the timing belt and cat replaced.

A mate who has a garage will be doing it but he aint got back to me with a price as yet.

Anyone any idea of a price? say from a garage in general?

tha's about right. Without looking at any prices I'd expect £150-200 in parts and 7-10 hours labour

think he'll only charge £100 for doing it so £300/£350 I'm hoping

depends on where r u dude i can giv u a guys number he done my head on my 1.2. charged me 550 but it took 2days coz it got sent away but thats with labour which was good. water pump u can pick up cheap. u can pick the parts up cheap if ur m8 is still doin it but for a garage for both i would say around 600 - 750 mark IMO
