You sound like @Carbonraider
Race to see who finishes their car first?
BRM gearbox has a torsen diff in it so i should fair well. weight and me not having big balls probs will be my down fall on track
So Sam's throttle bodied F4R in an utterly stripped out shell, he doesn't even have a loom, just the wires he needed to make it work, vs your boosted secret weapon that scares the crap out of you, should be interesting.
Don't make it in June or I won't be able to come!!
I'll think about it
5th 6th and 7th August
FAB. Should be able to make that.
I should make the trip again definitely trailering though...
@Rickwood @Dano' @msremmert @Matt W @dajones @LiquidYellDan @182Trophy @SharkyUK What say thee lads?
I'm happy to come along but the Civic is going in the next week or so and I'm getting a dull motorway boat till I live nearer my job.
Swanseas shitty roads are smashing up my car and I'm putting ~400 miles on a week on it for no good reason.
...if the car's ready...
So you need a lift then?
Yes please mate...
Here's the camping layout for this year
Not sure that's far enough, sound travels well over that flat airfield!
Are they getting out up in the village then?
Or can we soundproof the barn?
Me and cub are gonna enjoy the cookies and cake I bring next year.
That's a fair trade off tbh.
We'll hire one of these
Ha! As if that's a thing
should make an interesting match , considering ive just purchased the entire cars pollybush kit for £250 LOL
I'm up for this.
Might get the Mini on its first track.
I went to a CSOC one this year and I feel that this one will be much better.
After 5-6 years on here, I will be looking forward to meeting you all. I wont be tracking but will be definitely be up for all the banter and enjoying watching the track action.
CSS15 was such a good weekend
Awesome, sounds good.
Which car to bring then...depends if I have had the 172 fully resprayed by then.
Thread de-rail. What colour?
Oh, I am afraid to be boring but staying with the Pearl Black. She has quite a back story this car...Im sure it is a guy from here used to have her...Paul something or other...now is on megane.net or whatever it is. I've sunk literally 1000's in to it because the engine is soooo strong, so i feel it was worth it. Now it is time to get involved with the actual looks of her.
It will be better
If you've never been on track, I'd definitely recommend doing it at CSS.
This years was my first outing and it couldn't have been better. Brilliant visibility, brilliant first track and brilliant etiquette by everyone involved (bar one person).
If You don't feel up to it though, definitely get out for passenger rides. It was great fun this year.
Especially in Cub and Sam's passion wagons
Bit of a distance for me
Worth it though
If this doesn't clash with any of the good 'Ring dates I'll come along I think. Assuming I can convince myself to stop being a lazy t**t and finish the car off of course.
I think it's a trek from everyone tbh.
It took us five hours this year due to traffic.
I think the Scottish lads did it in less time!
Bit of a snotter aye.
Took @Dan the longest, coming from the southern most point!
Will definitely be back down for this next year. Hopefully pull a stronger Scottish crowd this time round too.
Me and the GF will be there again
looking to come along to this next yeah in the underpowered 133 (y) good work @Sunglasses_Ron
It won't matter what you're driving. I guarantee you'll have a cracking weekend. Look forward to meeting you buddy
Managed to convince Megan to come with me, should be camping too.
