i got mine changed just as it hit 60k fred at btm showed my my cam belt and it was F**ked could have gone at any time, my advice just do it i know it costs alot (£655) but its peace of mind. Just do it.

a drill,small diameter drill piece, self taping screws and an hour or so of your time, start at one end drill and tape across i did one screw ever 2-3 inches so it look neat with no large flat spots

i just surrounded my strip with a few layers of tape, then with a taped up flat headed screw driver i slowly prised it off, didn't damage the bumper or strip

i was thinking about doing this on mine too, im no expert so forgive my complete lack of knowledge when it come to this, but is it a case of just fitting spacers or do you have to adjust anything?
