bumper strip

hi im wanting to remove the rear bumper strip on my 182, what i want to know is do i need to remove the bumper to get it off or can i do it with out the bumper off?

If you look under the bumper, theres foam stuff in the way so i would imagine it would be a bumper off?

Not 100% though.

i just surrounded my strip with a few layers of tape, then with a taped up flat headed screw driver i slowly prised it off, didn't damage the bumper or strip

No need to take the bumper off mate, Just get a flat headed screw driver and a cloth of some sort for the screw driver to wear so it doesn't damage the bumper. prize it off with care to not break any of the clips and you'll be there took me about 20 minutes to get mine off today
