Hey all, I have noticed a squeeking sound (similar to when jumping on a bed) whenever I drive over a speed bump or any other bump in the round. Sound is coming from the front drivers side. Is this a sign that my shocks have gone? Thanks Phil

Hey Mate, I would go with some coilovers, I got a 1.2 16V dynamique and lowered in 60mm just using springs bought from Ktec racing but I wish I had waited and saved the money for some coilovers as I dont think my car is low enough =:(

Have you checked the crankshaft sensor? Mine was just turning over and not firing a couple of weeks ago...took it to a garage and they changed the crank shaft sensor and now she is starting first time :)

I prefer the privicy glass too, it looks less chavvy and also doesnt look like you are trying to conceal anything worth stealing. A few of my mates have had their rear windows smashed and speakers stolen. Although this could be down to them blasting their music rather then having dark rear tints.

Sounds like the crank shaft sensor. I have a 1.2 16v dynamique and at times it would start not problem and others it would just turn over and not fire. Took it to a garage and posted on here and everyone said it was the crankshaft sensor. Aparently it is fairly common and the part shouldnt cost...

Does it turn over or is it dead when you turn the key? If it is dead when you turn the key check the connections on the starter motor. If it just turns over but doesn't fire it could be the crank shaft sensor.

I had this issue last year and it was the coil back that went. That coupled together with my exhasut made it sound like I was in a scooby although I couldnt get much over 40mph haha
