Help guys,
Just taken the accord to a local garage to get some new front tyres and the key for the wheel nuts that I was given is the wrong one.
Is there a way of removing the locking nuts without the key? Is it possible to get a replacement from honda?
I asked the guy if they would do...
well tomorrow is the day I sell her up. Got to take her to the dealer at 11am tomorrow morning to exchange it for the accord.
So i'm gonna have to get up nice and early to make the 100 mile 2 hour trip.
I'm gonna sound like a reet sissy by saying this, but today at work I was thinking back...
How do you totally disable it?
My internet exporer is set so that popups are allowed but I also have this google toolbar at the top of the screen which keeps blocking popups.
As you may know i'm going to put a cold air feed inlet trumpet thing in the hole where one of mt front fogs was before it got smashed.
Just wondering if anyone has done this? I think Peperami might have on his old blue clio.
How did you secure the trumpet to the fog light port/hole? Just...
Basically my car has 4 front fogs mounted in the bumper (as most of you know). One of them got smashed and I cant get a replacement as they have been discontinued.
So i'm going to convert it into a cold air feed inlet port thing, but putting one of those coloured trumpets into the fog light...
Got some new brakes fitted by a really good garage a few weeks back for my cars service. They were brand new disks and pads and the car also had a new ball joint fitted.
However I have noticed that about 30% of the time when I initially apply the brakes, I can hear a short sharp clicking noise...
I remember when I picked that girl up a few weeks back for our date (the one who i picked up down the road so her dad didnt see the car).
She got in and cuz lusty has quite a loud air filter/exhaust, she said "wow you can really hear the engine".
She had no idea it was a 1.2 16v (being a...
Today I took some snaps of lusty in an under ground car park, which has lights all around and shows the array of colours to their best effect. I just took them very quickly and could have got even better ones had I taken more time over it.
I love it in this car park. The...
The other night thought i'd take a pic of lusty from my window as I thought she looked quite sweet on the drive.
Here it is:
lighting outside wasn't great so doesn't show the full array of colours as well as it does in the sun.
firstly soz if this is in wrong section.
My 2004 1.2 16v clio is due for its 36k service. I went to a small renault dealer who quoted me around £270. Does this sound like a reasonable price?
I also went to a local mechanic who has done all sorts of work on my car in the past and said he...
Just recently lusty has had a problem. For some reason she wont heat up properly as the engine temp guage stays at 2 bars when normally its on 4.
This is after 30 mins of normal driving which normally would produce for 4 bars on the gauge. The only time it does show this is when I take it over...
I understand that on modern engines:
If when going down a hill for example you leave the car in gear and dont touch the throttle then the engine uses no fuel at all.
Why then does the exhaust still release gases if the engine is simply running by the use of the gears? Id have thought the...
I understand that Ren made a mk2 ph2 diesel clio with 100bhp. Just wondering how many are about, cuz I remember looking for one before buying my car but couldnt find one anywhere?
to make the change smoother by matching the free revs with the revs of the next, lower engaged gear??
Ive started doing this as I think its better for the clutch and puts less stress on the synchro mesh. Am I right??
Right an 8v engine has 1 inlet and 1 exhaust valve, and a 16v has 2 of each.
Im just wondering why do they give the 16v engine car more valves? Couldn't they just keep the same number of valves as an 8v engine, but make the valves bigger??
That stuff is sh*t!!!
You have to use sooo much of the stuff in each wash to get a decent amount of bubbles, and the finish after isnt very good.
Think i'll stick to my Zymol auto wash from now on :approve:
Basically removing 2 of the fogs (the inner one from each side) and putting on of those trumpets for cold air feed pipes in each fog light port then positioning the air feed pipes to the air filter. How do you think this would look. I have looked at grenn filters site who do the trumpets in...
