Yeh you must have nipped out pretty quickly :) as i hadn't spotted you until i was braking for the cyclists.
Look forward to seeing you at mayford again :)
haha cool that was me. I was gutted actually as i normally arrive sideway through mayford but due to the bike on my left and bike on my right i was forced to slow up. Was in 2nd gear when i spotted you and put my foot down. :)
I was trying to get a little tripod affect going for you as i went...
I've come across a few 182's on the commute. Dom is the only one who has acknowledged me on the motorway. I see a trophy sometimes on the A3. We both wave to each other as he is a fellow cliotrophy.co.uk member.
In 7 months of owning a trophy i've seen 4 possibly 5 of them.
On friday eve i...
I do that journey everyday to. Suprised we've not crossed paths before. Yes it was nice and did make a boring commute a lot more fun. Hopefully it will happen again.
Yup i know that junction. I live near East Grinstead and work just outside of woking.
Twas me :)
Your cup was looking nice :). Your the first 182 thats actually acknowledged me on the motorway. Normally they are just commuters that don't give a second look.
Whereabouts are you from?
My trophy has been delayed. Was mean't to arrive this wednesday but it's now been put back a week. I'm expecting it will get delayed another week after that!! oh well.
Noticed yesterday my car was leaking some fluid. It smelt like the washer fluid and i went to my local renault this morning and they confirmed that bottle and a pipe has a leak. They said to change it will take 2 hours and ofcourse i do want it changed so i said yes go for it. Its due to be done...
Ive had plenty of clios try it also plenty of other low powered hatches. These days i let them get on with it as ive no interest in wasting extra petrol to show them who is boss.
I get around 320 miles a tank. Spend between £250-300 a month on fuel.
Looking to buy a 205 1.8 diesel so i can stop the miles flying up on my 182 so quickly.
I agree with Roy. If i am on a single lane road then the closer someone gets to me the slower i drive until they get the idea.
However these days 95% of my driving is on the motorway and sure i get loads of people driving far to close to me during rush hour on the M25 but they normally do that...
Cheers guys.
Floodie: Mine is also a very very slow puncture. I last put air in it on sunday and today it is still fine. It seems to take 2 weeks!!! to be really flat. I checked it this morning and it looks fine. I will check the pressure tonight and see what the change is.
Going to have to...
I have so many packets of these but never even open them. Threw a load away recently.. Is there an actual point for collecting them? Or is it just something to do?
I shall open up all the packets i have tonight and see if i have any you guys want.
Ive got a slow puncture on my driverside rear and was wondering what I should do... Can I get it repaired? and if I can should I? Or am I going to have to buy a new one?
Cheers
Nice blue 172 plate started with GX**. If your on here sorry for the undertake on the M25. It was just lanes 1 & 2 were free and lanes 3 & 4 were packed so i went in to lane 1 and kept my speed and ended up flying past about 10 cars. Oppsy.
Still it was nice to convoy with you on the m25 &...
I work just outside woking so am often around that area. I see several 172s & 182s however they all seem to be driven by middle aged people.. Although i did have a play with a blue 172 a few weeks ago just outside guildford.
