Alymac’s 182 fuel saving tip

....fed up spending £80 a month and getting around 450 miles to the tank.....must try not to boot it all day every day .....the solution....wait until your parents go on holiday and abuse their cars and the lovely full tanks of fuel in each and everyone.....

I put less than £100 in my 172 and even less when I start commuting next month.

Doesnt help what with the bloody fuel prices being so high

Dont complain Im spending about £100 a month on diesel.

This months bill is looking at around £350 for fuel.

for the price the 172 cost me and the performance i get whilst nearly always getting 35/36mpg regardless of how i drive then i dont think i can argue over fuel

the above + the smile it puts on my face + making travelling to work the most enjoyable its ever been = i dont give a flying f**k about what it costs me lol

Exactly the same for me, usually end up filling up every Thursday evening with an indicated 80 miles or so left, can get £35 of Ultimate in each week.

I get around 320 miles a tank. Spend between £250-300 a month on fuel.

Looking to buy a 205 1.8 diesel so i can stop the miles flying up on my 182 so quickly.
