yep, completly standard from what i can tell, x plate 172. i'm impressed by the standard performance but want a few subtle mods that would get them saxo chavs off my back :)

can anyone give some advice for adding some extra bhp to a ph1 clio? i have a budget of around 1k so any help would be much appreicated, cheers! :)

the back box om my ph1 snapped off and i didn't notice until the next day, there wasn't much noise level difference, not sure what that has got to do with this thread but thought i'd put my 2 cents worth in :) but i do think that loud cars are just ott, and stupid!

Was behind me for a fair few miles on the M5 today, also spotted, at the same time an identical car going north on the M5, just goes to show the 182 are more "out n about" than my trusty ph1 :) lol

the best i've had was around 42-43 mpg, at the moment about 34 around town. heard somewhere that if on the motorway 67mph is the optimum speed to get good mpg

Wow, just read the whole thread, you've showed patients and dedication to this project. A lot of people would've thrown in the towel at the first hurdle. When a problem came up you worked hard to get past it, well done mate, I'm impressed :cool:

Hmmmm interesting, I won't be going there for a service! If I did I may get my car back near Christmas! When I had an engine change on my old valver, it only took them 6 days to source, remove and fit the engine complete and with a new clutch too! Saying that the cam belt went 3 months later...

i've had my ph1 up to 130mph on an airfield and still would've went quicker but was running out of runway!

yeah i agree with that, had a ph2 behind me once on a dual carridge way and spotted 2 others going in the opposite direction at the same time.
