    European 172

Yeah a mix of both mate, when I initially started driving I was paying £3400 TPT&F on an Old 306, this year I got my renewal back at £900 with 3 yr NCB and I'm 22, what I save on insurance I can put back into the car. So now I have an extra 2500 in my pocket compared to this time 3 year ago haha.

    Back box fell off

I would go aftermarket mate and keep an eye on eBay as said above. Mine snapped on the joint just after the cat on my 172 and which was going to be 85 for a replacement. I managed to pick up a stainless cat back for 80, was abit dirty but with a clean its immaculate

Battery and Stop light coming on.

As some of you may notice from my previous posts in this section im having a bit of a night mare with 'French electrics' at the moment. I've been away for a few months and when I came back the other day my car started once and then wouldn't start again, I put it on a quick charge and got it...

ABS, ESP and SERV light coming on, Brake pedal switch already changed.

For those of you who are interested, I think I have established the cause of this. Both my brake pedal switches were a couple 'mm' too long so when I was braking the switch button wasn't coming out far enough to make contact to put the brake lights on, so some how I think that through the ABS...

ABS, ESP and SERV light coming on, Brake pedal switch already changed.

As above, when im driving the ABS, ESP and SERV light all come on after abit but reset themselves when the ignition has been switched off, its definitely on the braking circuit because if im stationary and press the brakes on and off a couple times the lights come on, any idea's?

    Titanium 182, My Ownership Diary.

Brasso also works surprisingly well on stainless exhaust pipes, i done mine last month when they were minging and it brung them up like new.

    Exhaust Confusion?

You'll be fine to just clamp it mate, i'd imagine it will have pre-cut slots into the end to allow it to clamp, similar to this: http://www.jetex.co.uk/website/images/catalogues/customparts/u068900large.jpg even if not its just a case of cutting two slots opposite each other. I done one...
