Would I be right in saying the 182 headlights seem to have a grey surround whereas the earlier 172 are black? I think the earlier black surrounds look much better (particularly on a black car). Is it possible to paint the surrounds; do the units separate easily?

I went to a (very wet) track day at Castle Combe in my 205GTi yesterday and there was a blue Clio Cup there. I was talking to the owner but forgot to ask if he came on this forum or not - was it anyone off here? He did a full 360 spin in front a few cars that were behind then carried on!! :D
