Had a set of 172 wheels off here a while back and they were heavily curbed and scratched. Starting refurbing them this week and the first one is done. What you think?

First chance i've had to get out in the kayak this year so i thought i'd take a few pics of it on the 172 roof, and my facy plate arrived yesterday. Cleans the front end up quite nicely i'm thinking

Had the tips changed on my K-tec system today because to tips were sitting too far out and were all rusted. Think they look much better now :D

Around half 12 today, i gave a beep in my 172

Noticed a few 172's in the traffic jam around junction 19 of the M4 about half 2 today, just before that van had decided to park on the barrier.

Bit of a squeze but it went in some how. Haha

Right my cup has looked like it does for a while now and i'm getting bored so i'm wondering what to do to it for a change. Heres a few pics of the car as it stands now so what do you sugest i could do?

I've unpluged the plug under my drivers seat to fit a bucket seat and the airbag and serv light have come on. It doesn't really bother me because i know why their on but if theres any easy way to make them go out i may aswell do it?

Does anyone know of a 'how to guide' for posibly making a subframe to fit a bucket seat into my 172?

I'm doing an oil and filter change on the weekend and i was wondering what oil is the best for a 172 cup?

Nice looking LY in porthcawl earlier today, i was goin round the roundabout with a bright green kayak on my roof.

I've painted my inlet manifold on the top of the engine with high temp paint but i was thinking, if i spray normal spray paint over the top now will it withstand the heat? Or will i need to use hammerite or something?

Just wondering how many HT53 cups we got on here? Mines HT53 EZP.

After taking my fog lights out because they didnt work i thought i'd just spray the lenses black and refit them so they looked like blanks but i wasnt fussed on the look so i've taken them out again. Just wondering if anyone know where i could get some sort of intake to fit the holes or blanks...
