When I found mine was making a noise, it was your post I found on 200.net and it sounded exactly the same. Just didn't want to post the vid on your thread and spam it. I am going to go to Reno about this, I'll let you know how I get on. Be good to hear what your's sounds like!

Thanks for the quick replies guys. Fred - sorry to sound thick, but why would the tensioner be hitting its stops anyway? Definitely hasn't always made this noise, only started doing it recently.

I wanted the Speedlines on mine, but because it was already at the port they weren't able to do it. Seats they can change apparently, but wheels are an option that have to be fitted from the factory!

They all idle like that, my old 182 did it and the 200 isn't really much better!

Evening everyone, I've got a new Clio 200, the dealer said I shouldn't not rev it past 3,500 for the 650 which I have now done. Question is what should I do now? Am I OK to give it some beans now or do I need to raise the rev limit gradually? Any advice greatly received. Cheers, Patrick

Yes I did get this fixed thanks - I had to get a new steering wheel angle sensor for £100 plus as I damaged mine when fitting the new wheel. I don't think the problem you are describing is the same as I had (unless your light is on). Sounds like you need to get someone to look at the steering...
