Hi. What are your thoughts and experiences with this version?
I have been looking at one, since miles per gallon are pretty decent and tax is also cheap. If it's looked after what sort of mileage would you expect?
Any comments in regards to these are welcome.
Currently on my car are two each of the following:
225 40 ZR 18
255 35 ZR 18
I have found a couple of sets of tyres with the following, which would be the easiest to replace?
235 55 18
245 35 18
Alternatively I can get the mixed set:
245 35 18
245 40 18
The car was registered in 1995 on a N reg plate, hence why the plate is what it is.
If you wanted a plate like those that you displayed in your link, sure it would be personalised, but it wasn't personalised when it came out.
It's N100 ORG. He described it as looking at it as N 1000 RG, I personally just think of it as Nioooooooooooooorg. It's a weird sound really.
Just seems weird to me that a standard plate could be worth £400?
So I was driving home yesterday, and a guy in a black BMW pulled alongside me and put his window down, long story cut short, he used to own my car about 9 years ago before selling it to his mate Jason, who then sold it to the guy I bought it from.
He told me to get a valuation on the number...
I have bumper trim that has faded into a dull grey colour, and I want to spray it so it looks clean and fresh.
It has the dreaded pimple feel to the material. So a quick question, if I sprayed it over in black, would this be ok, or would it need to go through the works of sanding, prepping...
Cheers.
Thats what is happening at the moment, but I'll have to wait until the morning, go to BMW for the bleed screw and take it to my local mechanic.
As much as I'd love to save money and give it a go myself, I'm useless with these things.
The highlighted red part has broken. I had the car MOT'd Saturday and when they did the emissions test, they had problems with it. They let it cool down, and refilled it.
Since then it was fine. But since picking it up after dropping the car back in today, it's been spitting/overheating.
The...
Last week I had to put new power steering fluid in as it was low, the sound went when I turned the wheel.
Yesterday, when I had a full car, the noise of the steering was terrible, but went when there was only two of us in there.
Could this be a steering issue, or a problem with the suspension?
If they do write it off, surely you can state the work you've just had done to the car and say that you fully expect the replacement car to have the same work done?
How would the insurance react if you said you park on the driveway, but your car was damaged/stolen while parked on the road?
I only ask because I remember a story a few years back where a guy invalidated his insurance because his car was stolen from outside his house, when it should have been...
Not sure if they sell the Sky+ packages anymore, but I might be wrong.
Sky+ HD is a good choice. Sky Sports 1, 2, 3, 4 and News are available for £18 a month, whereas you only get 1 and News for £9.
They're trying to encourage people to take all three out, but you can choose what you want.
