sorry about the lack of details, im wanting to put a standard rear bumper from a facelift clio (02 reg) onto a 172 (also 02 reg ) the reason for this is im having the 172 rear bumper sprayed free of charge however the sprayer cant give a time on when he can do it , so im gonna put a stadard one...

HAS what do u mean by new wings, do you mean the body panels or arch liners :dapprove: ive just done a search and people managed to swap a 172 bumper to standard clio easily ,surely i cant be this hard to swap a standard onto a 172 , i dont want to sstart removing skirts and body panels !

can some one tell me if i can fit a standard mk3 (01 reg) bumper to a 172, is it easy if its possible ! cheers scott

im looking at getting rid of the valver and getting a 172, however im one of these people that like to be a bit different! so has anyone got pics of some 172's decked on 17's/18's or with some modified body parts like new sideskirts , spoilers................. cheers scott

the renault specialiast that i will be using is charging £450 and i think this includes a new clutch aswell, but not too sure ! edde what you say about the engine and clutch having to be separated is exactly what they said to me !

just discovered by my local renault specialist that the oil leak i have on my valver is gonna cost me £450 to repair :( apparently its the main oil seal between the gearbox and engine , i phoned up my renault dealer and they quoted me £800 :eek: anyone else had this problem on their mk1's, how...

my mk1 valver will need its rear arch removed soon due to rust , ive found a site that sell the part at £20 but what i need to know is what is the process for taking the old arch of , do they cut it out then place this new arche in it s place :S cheers scott

well ive been offered some brand new dare x1's in 17's for £300 wih toya tyres ............:D their for my valver and i know they will look spot on but ive heard bad things about 17's on mk1! i was planning to get them in 16's but brand new they are £400 ! is it a too good a offer to turn...

my mk1 valver is missing a nut at the front of the engine, what is it ? heres a pic im a little worried at the mo so any help will be great cheers

well just my dumb luck really , i picked my valver up from a mate last night and brought it back to mine , went to start it an hour later and nothing ! now the car has never had this problem before so i cant think of what it can be ...... the car trys starting but just wont fire if that makes...

recently drove a friends 1.8 16v which is on a n reg only done 65,000 miles and it felt a tag gutless :eek: it has a fat pipercross air filter on it and a whole in the exhaust , could this explain why the engine felt constipated ............. im not sure but arnt pipercross crap and the size of...

i had to do alot of mods to the original fixings on past bonnets to get them to fit right , maybe this is all it needs !

whats the fit like mate,ive had a few in my time and some have been reall bad and others perfect!
