well ive been offered some brand new dare x1's in 17's for £300 wih toya tyres ............
their for my valver and i know they will look spot on but ive heard bad things about 17's on mk1!
i was planning to get them in 16's but brand new they are £400 !

is it a too good a offer to turn down
any advice please

yes turn it down......wack on some 15's at the most 16's....you have bought a car with very good handling mate don't screw it up by putting big wheels on

agree, unless your all about show, go for 16"s
