A 4 wheel alignment check along with castor and camber checks should highlight whether or not you have the option. Problem is, you may need someone without cup option to compare with. The garages may not have the settings for either car on their charts yet!
Doh! You should have said you were going - Id have popped round for a look!
Interesting what youre saying about the tyres in the wet. My initial thoughts on wet driving in the Clio were that it didnt inspire much confidence. I wasnt pushing it (on the raod), so they may improve as you push...
Cant say my 182 disguises speed - theres too much tyre roar to do that. Still very comfortable on the motorways though.
Mines done 3100 miles now, and it keeps impressing me in almost every way. Would leave my old 306 Rallye for dead - straights or corners! The suspension is an odd kettle of...
A local dealer offered me £10K for mine too - 2500 miles on the clock.
Had a fairly lame excuse saying that the paint will fade in no time, so theyre not as desirable as metallics!!
Does your car have Cup suspension? If so, then try getting run-of-the-mill tyres. The slightly stiffer...

I dont often do motorway driving, but Im using just less than quarter of a tank to do about 32 miles. Its on par with my old Rallye.
Only thing I need to check is how accurate the fuel gauge is - I dont expect it to be particularly good. Ill be able to tell when I fill up next (shouldnt be...
Hello lads (/lasses?),
Well, try not to rely too much on your on board MPG computer! Mine seems to be stuck on 35mpg even after 2 resets! Done some sums and it seems Im getting less than 20mpg!!
Considering getting rid of it now, seeing as its a bit of a compromise compared with the Rallye...
It says on my handbook (car registered in May) that the AA did not cover RTAs, punctures, or misfire due to low or poor petrol! Looks like its warranty only!
Think I may need the RTA bit, so may upgrade very soon!!
What a time to find out! Bear in mind that, amazingly, there are people out...
LOL, reminds me of when EVO magazine took their Clio V6 for a service and the service staff told them that theyd found a strange stuff within the liners which looked strangely like the stuff they use in gravel traps!!!!
Evos response we couldnt possibly comment!!!! Classic!
Huw
Mine has headlight washers! Im assuming theyre all 182s coz I wouldnt expect them to use an old model 172.
Cant remember where on the track I saw the V6 - it was blue. At the beginning of the F1 programme, they were showing us around the different areas of track before closing it for today...
