Hmm, the F-block has 89mm cylinder spacing, the k-block 85mm...

I don´t think that the flange seals properly afterwards.

I did something similar, but I weldet a completly new k4m-specific flange to it...

And now it begins

...
so here is my solution

with the flange chopped a bit and it stuck in a vice, welded back up she fits like a glove

looks better too

I don´t think that´s so much a problem of running too rich, more of that f****** or do you use something different at the moment?
what are you on about?

i know its running mega rich its running on a 240bhp map, as thats the base map i could get hold of, thusfor its filling the inletmanifold with loads of fuel and with the overlap on the valves it pops a little, and you know its way to rich as it fills garage with black smoke.

i been messing about with the ecu tonight, and instead of the fuel rows altering by tps i have set it to the ecu's internal map sensor and it is running alot smoother, but i think i have destroyed a lamda sensor... meh

I meant that double ignition of the stock ECU that often leads to back fire, or do you use something totally diffrent like supersquirt or so?

How do you think you destroyed the lambda sensor, by excessive heat cause of misfire??

im not using the stock ecu, i am using standalone engine management

and im also using wasted spark

Get a move on, Trax is coming up soon :rasp:

its roadworthyish

just polishing and ironing out fault and making it run 100%

rad fan needs to be controled via standalone, as cars ecu will let it get mega hot, but if you turned ignition off and back on the fan came on :S

so ill just have it wired via standalone ;)

goes well on full chat. but pulling away mid range is poor atm

ill get it sorted though :D

manifold clears fine.
for some reason when i started it, it decided to run on 2/3 cylinders, revved it for about a minute and the 4th one finally sorted itself, i assume it just got choked up :S feck knows.

i got another trumpet mount to make and chuck the dash in and i should be drivable for trax :D yey :D
