Saw an Iceberg 172 heading into Ormskirk this morning at around 11am and a blonde in a Flamer leaving Tesco in/near Burscough shortly after. I was in my Brother's Subaru Legacy heading to Rhino Alloys to get my set of Turinis refurbed (pretty sure the guy in the Iceberg looked at us too!)...

I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me if the rear diamond is identical to the front one? I believe the rear diamond is glued on but does it also have the 3 clips like the front one? If so, could I buy any Mk2 diamond for the rear of my car? :S Any advice would be appreciated muchly! :cool:

Hey all, just wanted to see what people's opinions are of the sound my car has started making the past month or so. When driving over slightly scruffy or rough road surfaces during cornering my car makes a knocking/rattle noise at the front which you can also feel through the steering wheel...

Phase 1 was heading towards Runcorn at about 10am and the Trophy was near Oswestry on the A5 at about 10:45ish, I was in my Iceberg 172 with my xenons blazing. :cool: Saw various other 182's around the area too.

Over the past few weeks I've been freshening up the looks of my 172 by painting the front diamond, bullets and wheel diamonds. Looks much better now IMO. Still have the rear to do and maybe take the 'Renault Sport' badge off as I'm sick of driving next to people with the Halfords 'Sport' badge...

Well, yesterday while changing my gearbox oil I rolled my car down off the planks of wood and yanked my handbrake up far too hard causing a big bang/snap sound resulting in a handbrake that goes all the way up, it still holds but I'll have to leave it in gear for now :dapprove: didn't think to...
