im not sounding stupid when i say this (or trying not to), but have u cleaned the car since this has happened and then tried to make the fault re-occur?
i only say this cause i find it strange to beleive that it would come from the exhaust as the air is gettin forced in a horizontal direction...
do renault suffer from this aswell do they? pug, citreon and bmw suffer with it aswell. as a repair, we cut the plug out and fit a new plug on, but as a quick diy job u can cut the plug out and crimp the wires together
im not sure how the renault system works, but on bmw they have a ribbon on the top of the steering wheel before the steering wheel. this is for the airbag so when u turn the wheel right round it doesnt loose any connections etc. we get the prob every once in a blue moon that they catch an can...

the airbag light will turn on when starting the vehicle almost as a sign to say that its switched on. it should then turn off after a few secs. if its constantly illuminated it means that there is a fault in the sytem somewhere and it needs to be resolved for the airbags to be most...
if its leaking air it would prob run like a dog and it may not be any noisier! one way to find out is when its runnin, loosen the oil filler cap and see if there is any change to the idle of the car (watch out for oil flinging out tho).
would like to think that if its a sensor fault then it...
why dont u swap the tyres fron to back and see if theres any change? check for feathering on the tyres aswell. does it pull to one side or does it do it both ways?
ha ha, if u have serious piston failure, prob better concentrating on getting that sorted instead of buying an alloy catch tank to prevent a fire....;)
