I love this car, it's perfect in white.

Anth Turinis for me personally!

Coming on leaps and bounds!

Happy to help mate, looking good and nice to see the inspiration you've taken, and good work on finishing the centre clock, next on my list so we might need to hook up again

Interesting that you had to notch the interior light out though to fit the SMDs, the panels I had (all used now!) fitted perfectly, looks like finding more is going to be a pain!

Yeah the interior light was a smidgen to wide so didn't want to stress putting it back together for the sake of 2 mins with the dremel!

Let me know when you need a filter pal or I will do the lot for a small fee ha

Just read the lot from the start, lovely Clio; never thought white would work but it does.... stunner.

White is still my favourite colour on these, then LY and RB, obviously a little biased ha

Thanks pal and good luck with the mats, mine are still top!

Very smart! Lots of little changes which makes a huge impact.

All about the bigger picture which with my cars takes a while with lots of bits here and there haha.. I stopped adding up what I'm spending on this a while ago... lol

I think it was always going to be anthracite with the Turinis  may have to pull my finger out and get them done before summer!

Very nice

Thank you mate

Awesome car mate! Just seen that camber gauge you have, that's badass How much are they? I need to set my fronts up but can't see me spending a lot for a one time application.

They aren't expensive pal, simple design, just a sprit level bubble so I used it to get it as good as I could before driving it and spent time double checking. When I got the alignments done I couldnt believe how accurate it was on a digital laser type computer machine that protyre had. Brilliant. Gunson was the make, loads on eBay.

Cheers :)

Work told me I needed to use some leave up, so what better excuse to plough into my to-do list on the Cup!

 ta Graham!

The canister delete has been done for a long while, but the pipework has only been done properly for a few months now with no noticeable issues? I removed it all as the pipe had a nick in it by the wheel arch and the sensor gave up also, throwing up a constant fault code. I assume on hotter days it may give a petrol cap hiss potentially? Never seen anyone have an issue unless its not blanked in the event of a crash fuel may make its way out?

Nice to see this car being restored to how I used to remember it! A few nice touches with the interior too!

I would of liked to see photos of this when it had white Turinis on, part of me still likes the idea of it but maybe only if it ever hits a track day?

This car is so nice

Top work

Cheers SJ  asked the admin to change the title as i originally never mentioned it was Glacier White

This is beautiful and I am now seriously considering having mine done in white. I think Renault missed a trick with white 1*2's!
Although saying that they would be common as muck!!

Agreed PP! I think a Cup/Trophy or optional like LY would of been a winner but maybe not as special to see then. They got it right with the 197 though ha!

:hushed::up: I've seen your car deano!

Nice plate for you that is (D NO'S RENAULT) looks really smart and great condition on the road on Turinis, makes a 182 look great.. ! So just commented on your project thread ;)

What colour is the taxi ill keep an eye out! Small world

Looks fantastic! good work too!

So couple of questions... the Ph2 (172) dash is no different from a 182 dash in colour? also i didn't think the Ph2's came with a dash dimmer?
Next up again im guessing the 172/172 cup have totally different door cards to the 182? again any colour or material differences?
I only ask as i've just chucked a load of 172 cup plastics in my ph1, need to do dash, door cards and seats. i know the seats are slightly different though.

Deano (and you Chris), we're having a plymouth mini meet on the 11th, you're welcome to attend

 Cheers Callum

Have you carried on with your dash LED swap yet?

regarding dashboards, i believe all PH2 sports are the same, but the non cup door cards are alacantra material like the seats are. Differences there are Cups dont have the seat airbags either, and dash dimmers.. no idea they seem to vary some dont have them!

 Thank you mate it's all been maintatence really but part of me wonders if I should of tracked it in the earlier stages but never mind

Love it

Looks a tadge too low imo though

 nice one

I know what you mean, I haven't touched the front height but the rear I always found too high before, see the photos back a page when it was on Turini's in black, but unsure if it needs to come up a little bit again...

I love low cars though so dont see this stupidly low myself lol

Love this colour! This glacier white is from clio 197? Can you give me the paint code of it? cheers!
Jorge

Hi @eicon

Late reply, but yes its Glacier White, they do it in 369 and 389 paint codes... I believe this was the OV369 when I had the bumper etc done

Any new updates buddy ?
