South East Convoy CSS *UPDATED* (Southend location changed)

First thing's first, get petrol before you arrive to any of the meet's, we're not sitting watching you fill up whilst we wait

I know there's already a thread but they may be taking a different route, and I'd like an idea of who's even coming out of what I'd consider "My lot" i.e those that aren't staines/southend.

I'll be going anticlockwise around the m25 on Saturday morning, meeting points so far are:

• Southend sea front (for anyone down that way) Halfords car park at Rayleigh Weir at 7:15. <<< lrj will be starting from here
• Blendon Petrol Station 7:30 a.m <<< I will be starting here
  
  The two above are separate, but for those coming from different places
  
  
• Thurrock services 8 a.m
• South Mimms services 8:30 a.m

So, who's in?

I will say now, if you're not there within 10 mins of the times above, we're offski.

I intend to go clockwise around the m25 and will be getting on at Dartford, depending upon what way the southend convoy will be going we can meet with them.

That's a problem. Starting at Thurrock Services, the intention is to go anticlockwise.

Anyway, the start of the convoy is at Thurrock Services. The Southend bit was for anyone from Southend to convoy to Thurrock Services.

There's negligible distance between going clockwise and anti-clockwise.

what route are you taking rob?

i know the other rob (lrj) set up a meet from southend but i was unsure if that was joining up with you?

if the main meeting point is thurrock then you'll going anti-clockwise? if so i'll be coming from harlow so perhaps i could meet you at south mimms? it would seem silly for me to go down to thurrock only to double back with myself

We can go anticlockwise if it makes people happy?

It's just that (IMO) as someone who drives the m25, A LOT, clockwise is quicker.

If anticlockwise suits people better, then I'll be doing the following:

7.30 a.m LEAVE Blendon Shell petrol station for any Sidcup/Orpington/Bexley/Welling type members.

8 a.m meet other convoy/people from medway etc at Thurrock

8.20 a.m meet anyone from Dr Jekyll's way at South Mimms

Does this suit everyone?

From there we'll go anti clockwise.

Think we only actually need two meeting points.

Kloyd, you're probably better off meeting us at Thurrock yes? Because we'll be the opposite direction on the a2 to you?

If you're coming up the a21, you could meet us at Thurrock? It probably is a little quicker for you to go the other way around though, so maybe meet the south central lot? Fletcher etc?

Scrooge, as long as we sit around 80 jammy dodgers or so I'm fine.

Oh thanks for the assumed invite!! I might have made other plans*....

I'm always on best behaviour especially when there is the possibility of your sugar levels being checked so I normally keep my harribo packed topped up around 75-85% otherwise I get grouchy... Who's bringing jammie dodgers? I love jammie dodgers!
