Ordered mine from o2 today, hope it comes tomorrow as they said it would, will be jailbroken as soon as I've put the screen protector on as was my touch and iPhone 2G.

has anyone else noticed the little red light just to the left of the speaker at the top of the phone?

Can kinda see through the black bit in certain light and I noticed it flashing the other day, just wondered what it indicates...

Is that not where light sensor is (for automatic screen brightness etc)?

Does anyone know of any free programs that allow you to save and read texts from the iPhone? I've had mine over a month and have a few thousand that I would like to keep but be able to read on the PC. ;)

I think it's the sensor to recognise when you have your phone to your ear, to stop any of the screen becoming active when your face touches it.

Download AppSync from Cydia though, it'll sync your *****'d applications.

******d ones but not the cydia free ones?

I got an incipio feather today and after f**king about with the screen protector finally got it on. Does anybody use an Invisishield? I have one ordered but after the hassle of putting this one on, I am dreading doing a full cover. I was fighting a never ending battle with dust particles.

Nah, just *****'d ones.

iTunes won't recognise WinterBoard, for instance. Even with AppSync.

Winterboard works on the 3GS now, too.

I have no idea. Someone else guided me so I am clueless. Tom states on previous page also do NOT update iTunes on a JB phone. But I do not no why.

Got my phone jailbroken and unlocked, but cant get the friggin bluetooth to work, its on but not seeing any devices, nor can I send to it from another phone. Any ideas?

Have you installed iBluetooth?

Normal iPhone bluetooth only detects certain devices and other iPhones.

You can't transfer files to iphone with bluetooth. There is an app you can buy in Cydia which does it, but it has not been adjusted for 3.0 yet AFAIK.

I can't seem to get bluetooth to work; its on, but it never picks up people and people can't connect to me. It is visible.

I can't see how to rotate pictures either?

Also, all my contacts are ordered by surname; annoying! Can I change this?

1. What are you trying to do with bluetooth? It will only work with audio unless you have an app that works with it.

2. Turn the phone on its side.

3. Contact ordering is in settings (Astonishingly)

Send & recieve stuff, I didnt think I needed an ap for the new one? :/ I'll try and find one now.

I've got an image I'm trying to assign to a contact, but when the phone is held portrait the image appears landscape. how do i rotate it so its the correct way up? (does that make more sense?)

You can't do that with pictures. You'll need to take it off the iPhone onto the PC, rotate it, upload again. TBH, a bit of common sense and you could have figured it out. Oh.

Well I have been reading around the net and all I can find is that the latest version of iTunes removes the ability to sync a Palm Pre with iTunes.

Even Dinozambas says updating to 8.2.1 is fine on a JB device.

What I am missing?
