Another North Weald Meet: 17.03.2012

Guys perhaps we should take advantage of the size of this meet and have a whip round for the Herts Air Ambulance which is based at North Weald. However due to me being away is there anyone who is up for collecting it and dropping it off at the Hanger where the Aircraft is based?

Without sounding like a negative tw*t, i dont think that would work. The thing with meets is that there free and people may feel they dont want to come if they feel obliged to put there hands in there pockets, even if its for a good cause. The thought/idea is good but i think it would suit a more charity based event as opposed to a meet, even though there is a big list, which is something that could be organised at a later date.

Not negative at all mate. However it was just an idea due to the size of this meet at this current time. Of course I wouldn't want anyone to feel obliged to donate anything. I have got an idea in the pipeline for a charity based meet. However it will have to wait until I get back from Germany and I'm in the UK full time. Hopefully judging from the size and interest In this meet it may attract a mid to large crowd to if it does come to fruition.

However I do expect to see lots of photos of this meet guys and I'm really gutted I can't come even tho my car might be there without me lol

You can put your cars on the grass along the taxiway as long as you leave enough room for aircraft to taxi to the runaway. Obv aircraft have right of way! Parking shouldn't be to bad as long as everyone parks sensibly.
