I know getting attached to your car makes no difference to a cars value and trade in is always less, but was shocked that my Ph1 that is near on mint condition, one owner 77k all standard with folders of service history from new was booking at £340! Even the dealer felt bad about it.
Makes me...
I need some plates for my 172, looked at the plate guide here but it's for a Ph2
I've got the 520mm width but make the length down around 70mm which seems too small.
can anyone advise the correct size for the Ph1 recess before I order please.
many thanks
Paul
As thread title. I need a set of rear shocks for my PH1 172 and the cheapest pair I've found are on e bay for just under £79.00 with £8.00 delivery, they are genuine Renault parts too.
Can anyone recommend or are there any traders on here able to offer a cheaper set with a Cliosport discount...
Probably been asked loads. Just come back from the Renault dealership looking at Mobility cars for people at work and the salesman spotted my PH1 outside.
He seemed gobsmacked by it especially as it was standard, clean and looked after.
He said they rarely see them there now and in its state are...
As above really, got a shocker gone on the drivers side rear, leaking all over the place and slamming a good un.
Finding it difficult to get quotes to change them too.
Can these be changed easily, I've never done it and am I safe to use pattern parts or should I use genuine Renault ones...must...
Just got my 3M kit and followed it to the word. Its made a huge difference but still has a tiny haze. I used my cordless drill that is only 14.5 volts. I've got a power drill but think this will be too much.
So do I persevere with the cordless drill or should I be using my power drill for...
I have just reordered all my detailing gear and just need to order a finishing wax for my 172 of which is silver.
I can't afford £100 for a tub(its a Clio after all), I was looking at Poorboys Natty Paste Red as it seems reasonable and of fair quality.
Collinite was another that keeps cropping...
With the weather so good it would've been wrong not to detail the thing for the first time.
I'm impressed with the results and just wanted to share.
Pic quality may not be great as I took them on my I phone.
Thanks for looking :)
Took the kids to school in the Clio today and the drivers side rear seat belt won't pull out, it was fine yesterday!
is this a common problem and an easy fix or a pain to do?
i had to use the belt from the ceiling to buckle my little girl in today!
Hi all, been a while since I had leather/part leather seats and previously used Auto Glym leather cleaner followed by their leather care cream. Worked really well but time consuming.
can anyone recommended a good quality cleaner and feed for the seats in the Clio
Ta muchly
