yep admit it, im thick as pig sh*t :) just wondered what sort of difference the readings would be in emissions with de cat, maybe I dont have to change the exhaust system and fit a new standard air box like the MOT tester said.. Just fit a cat?

well obviously its gona fail lol.. the exhaust was loud anyways I could probs fit my head in the back box ha good riddance to that.

^^as above^^ My car failed its MOT on emissions and lambda the MOT tester told me to get a new exhaust system and take off the after market air flter, anyways to cut a long story short I found a clio breaking to buy the full system "cat, center, back box, and lambdas" the bloke breaking the car...

could just be a bit of oil has gone on top of the sparky, does the car smoke at all? if not and its running as it should I wouldnt worry

The clio has done me proud, only failed on a couple of bulbs, lambda sensor, and emissions.. I knew it would fail emissions as the sump plug is rounded so was unable to service until my m8 can get the sump plug out for me, and the MOT tester recommended I should take off the big back box, fit...

had a go at smacking it round with a hammer and chisel and a hammer and flat head.. just takes chunks out of it, hence why I asked if the bung is steel or alloy :(

Just got all prepared to service the clio and the effin sump plug is rounded, seriously rounded! how the hell do I get it out? mole grips wont work and I dont have vice grips :(

Went to my local Renault garage and they recommended 10w40 semi not fully.. summet to do with the engine 10 years old and engine wear etc.. just what they recommended dont shoot the messanger :)

was thinking disc conversion on my 1.4 but dci 100s are pretty rare, doubt I will be able to find one breaking for parts :(

Chatting to a bloke that has the clio dci 100. his has disc brakes on the back from factory. Do all dci 100s have discs??

I didnt do it m8 its how the car came to me, as far as I know they are O.E shocks but not 100%.. 90mill is too low for me so will be getting lifted 40mill or so

its only just started doing it had a look at the rear shocks and they seem to be ok.. I cant get my head round it cant find anything wrong appart from the front bottom arms :(

Hi.. engine and gearbox mounts need changing, I have changed the 3 I can find but the engine still has slight play.. Apparently my car has 5 mounts I can only find 3 which are top engine mount, gearbox mount under battery, and dog bone.. can any1 tell me where the other 2 are?? on a clio 2002...
