Maybe its just me but every car I've bought 2nd hand has started going tits up at 70k miles. I don't fancy doing my 70 mile round commute in something that I don't know if its going to start in the morning. It's all swings and roundabouts I guess.

I've had it now for 4 weeks and tbh I don't miss the Cup... it only ever got driven too and from work. I did consider getting an older car but I might as well of kept the Cup if that were the case!

About 4 weeks ago I traded my 172 Cup in for a 1.2 Clio Dynamique. The Cup was costing me too much to run as things were going wrong with it left right and center. I'm also conscious that I should probably consider getting on the housing market! I nearly got a 05 182 with 11k miles on the clock...

There are so so so many RS clios about the NE but hardly any on CS.net. Bit of a shame because you'd be able to get a canny sized meet together. Keep an eye out for my in my black 57 plate dynamique... I live over near Hexham but am always about the Silverlink as I work there. I miss my Cup :(

Yep - as this man said! Its all down to the prep work imo... having forked out 35 quid on some Dodo I'll not be going anymore expensive than that! I'll probs move back down to a cheaper wax like Collinite/P21S once the Dodo has run out. IMO its all hype... although I have heard with the more...

Used to do my tits when my old Clio did it... do a search and you'll find out how to switch it off! Either that or the manual!

Eh... if you need your bootspace what on earth are you going to be amping up? Could always wack it under a seat and get a fan onto it!

It's an AVX11 - and hell yeah s**t loads of wires in there! I still need to get the iPod connector AND my stalk controller into it. I've still got to pick them up from the place I get my gear from so will get them to have a gander!

Yes deffo! I am running my standard front speakers amped of a Diamond Audio D1 300.4 amp and it sounds so so much better. Well I was until the wiring cocked up my heater controls! Will be upgrading the fronts when I have got another spare 300 quid!

Just my 2 pence worth but would you not get a better sound by running the 1 amp. Junk the rear speakers, buy 1 good sub. Use your current amp on bridge for the Sub, and then other 2 channels for the fronts?

I use these badboys... Sonus Duragloss Out the too Duragloss is my fave!

Between 1-2 hours for a quick wash. 4 hours for a mini detail Then maybe near 12 for a full on job! Took me 2 days todo my bros old clio!

Polished Bliss has got a good guide as well if you want to read up on stuff!
