hi just wondered if any body could help ive just had my dephaser pulley and a cambelt kit done and just before it went in i was hearing like a clickin noise from the driverside front wheel as it was ticking over, got it back at the weekend and engine sound sweet as except i noticed today that...

got in my car this morning started it up and its ticking over at 2000 revs, the dephaser is in need of a new 1 and has been for a few months could this be the reason why its all of a sudden reving high , is it the dephaser getting worse?? please help

does any1 no wheather the 172 front shockers have a different length i.e shorter , longer? of thread at the top where the strut tops go on, to the 182 shockers?
