changed my gearbox oil yesterday, car has covered 59k got 5litres of tranself trx 75w80 cost me £38 including vat, if i had bought the oil in litre containers would have cost me £42ish for 3 litres, got enough to top up if needed
hi anyone know what i can use to clean my head lining?? been very windy lately had the back hatch open head lining must have picked up some dust, cheers
changed bulb in number plate light earlier, still not working, took light out corrosion on the contacts, anyone got part no for new number plate light, cheers
cleaned throttle body, changed plugs, tickover still lumpy, rev counter needle not constant goes from 600rpm to 750rpm then to 1000rpm etc feels like its going to cut out sometimes, anyone got any ideas??? have i got a problem or is this the norm, CHEERS
roughly how long will the mount take to change? how hard is it to do, never done one of these before, changed the dogbone, upper one next, do i need to change lower one as well? manifold is banging under hard acceleration, cheers for any help
getting a new fitting kit on friday, asked in renault dealership if there is a gasket that goes where the cat attatches to the manifold they told me that there wasnt one, is this right, if not whats the part no. cheers
checked my upper gearbox and upper engine mounts today, they were both loose took car out for a spin the exhaust still seems to hit body under hard acceleration, got new dogbone, should my next step be to get new mounts all round, CHEERS
just changed the rear exhaust mount, when taking the old one off i have sheared two of the torx bolts, bit pi--ed off, anyone else done this,? how do you remove the broken bolts, thanks for any advise
taking my decat off this weekend, fitting my cat back on, its far to noisy on a run, ecu back to standard too, the group n is too lumpy on tickover, maybe selling the cup after the summer
know ive got a dirty throttle body, could this be the cause of my lumpy tickover, also when im driving slow ie 35ish in fourth car car misses a little, feels like its going to cut out, (do i need to change plugs got some ngk pfr6e-10 ) mileage is 57000. CHEERS
had a drive in my mates standard 182 earlier, feels sharper, more kick at 5k revs, my 172 cup has got 1. k-tec stainless exhaust 2. decat pipe 3. hillpower induction kit 4. group n ecu from bb performance. am i doing something wrong?

fitted my cobra daytonas earlier, was much easier than i thought to fit, took 45mins-1hour tops,what a diff over the o/e seats,driving position, comfort etc!!.
can you use menzerna ff and menzerna intensive polish outside? or do you have to use in garage etc, not done this before, why i ask is havnt got access to garage,CHEERS
