no plate light

changed bulb in number plate light earlier, still not working, took light out corrosion on the contacts, anyone got part no for new number plate light, cheers

Sorry to hijack, what bulb size do you need for this?

check there's 12V at the plug, then check for resistance through the terminals (thats probably the wrong terminology, but i'm not a sparkie!)

It's probably corroded, quite common. Check the bulb contacts.

Oh and the No plate lamp holders are quite expensive, I looked them up a few weeks ago... don't have the P/N to hand though at present.
