Thanx but unfortunatley we dont get stuff like meguiars or even auto glym here in gib, we got turtle wax (dont use it coz i dont like the name!) Iv tried getting a car cover from VW itself but they "currently unavailable" dont know how but thats what they told me :dapprove: I really hope there...

Unfortunatley i dont have a garage for my car...in Gibraltar its hard to allocate a private garage and people try selling them for £30,000 a year! I have this problem of parking on the street and birds shitting on my car. Everytime i clean my car i realise the bird s**t is eating away the paint...

Sorry joshydee i did want to sell it but iv realised i cant really have fun in the golf as i did in the clio, aswell the steering will be on the opposite side which you might not like....and thanks Yozzasport for the engine number :) By any chance, if i were to post a list of stuff that renault...

Well the engine in the 172 is abit fucked lol The gear box broke and a whole list of other things also broke...Renault quoted £10,000 to get it fixed so my dad said would be cheaper to buy an engine from a breakers in spain rather than paying £10,000 for a bunch of parts, btw is F4R the engine...

So you should be able to place an engine of a 182 into a 172 without probs?

Can you fit an engine from a 182 into a Ph2 172? Ifnot could any one tell me where i could find the engine number on a Clio 172...:)

Beef-MC your a star, four different Vee's have come up at around 30,000 euros each, around £17,000....quite alot compared to some which have iv seen on pistonheads or on cliosport.net itself....

Iv got still got the Golf its a great car but I just cant seem to have fun with it...just not like my 172...The guy who bought the 172 of us has already totalled the Clio, i dont know how to explain but he has sort of messed up the gear box, blew a piston i think and a list of other things...

Iv had a look on the internet but i cant seem to find any Ph2 V6's can only find a few Ph1's....To get one from the UK would sorta be my last resort as the steering is on the other side, but before i do that I want to see what i can find around europe.

Does any one know where i can find a Clio V6 some where in Europe?? Any websites, dealers, contacts any one might no? Really would appreciate the help :) The renault dealer in Gibraltar have refused to help me as the V6 is "too powerful" for me....but yeah, any help would be appreciated :)
