    2002 172 not quite sure how to get the cover off the ecu thats if it comes off, tryed to prize it with a big flat screwdriver but dont wanna break it any suggestions?

    just checked the loom in the engine bay and all seems well. is there a certain relay for the abs system anywhere that i could check?

    My car is a 2002 172 with abs Replaced all 4 abs sensors and cleaned the rings up with fine sand paper the rings are fine just a small corner chipped off 2 of the teeth front n/s which doesnt look like it would affect it... Clocks work fine done the dancing dials trick. also stereo wont...

    also, could a cracked abs ring have anything to do with it or would that just make the abs system faulty because i havent fully checked the rings yet

    would i have to go to renault for that or are there any specialists on here in the yorkshire region that have all the software? also, would a code reader from k tec pick the fault up?

    checked them all apart from the abs pump because its a bi*** to get at.. only thing i have noticed since installing the new nearside abs sensor is that the cv boot clip has broke and oil is everywhere so that cant help the situation either.

    i have just checked the stereo and the volume does not go up or down the slightest bit and thats on speed setting 5. so it could be the speed pulse cable maybe broken or rear abs sensors then? where is the cable routed then any pics would be awesome.
