Speedo sensor by the looks of it, its only used on phase 1's and cups i think as they get there speed information from the ABS sensor.

Its only used on Ph1s and cups because they don't get it from the abs. Some very early ph2s had a speedo sensor hence it being there as they were using the looms they had i imagine.
